This is just about the bees knees or the dog's xxxxxxxs - an exceptionally elegent walking cane. The telescope is concealed in the handle and is made from solid, good quality, brass.

No markings so cannot confirm the statement. The telescope is no toy but a real optical instrument - bet at distances greater than 100 yds. The photos show how it breaks down into 3 parts by screwing together.

Note the "screw" and "thread" are both metal - a sign of quality. The top handle is very comfortable so the whole is useful as well. The brass is unmarked and very shiney. The wood type is unknown but I think it maybe rosewood.

Metal ferule and rubber ferule to base. Collectors piece for certain but also suitable for everyday use. A very fine example of this classic cane.
