Vin tage' 80s DECORA T IVE SOUVENIR SHILLELAGH / WOODEN WALKING S T ICK from Belfas t, Ireland. Shillelagh is a general term for an Irish walking stick made of knotty wood with a large, polished knob at the top used for gripping. Historically wielded as a club or cudgel, Shillelaghs are a symbol of Ireland and a good luck charm. Made in Belfast circa 1980, this authentic Shillelagh measures approx. 24 long and weighs 2 lbs. Comes with original tag attached to rope loop strap. Adult-owned and used only for display purposes in smoke-free, temperature controlled environment.
