Vintage carved wooden Mexican walking stick/cane. This cane belonged to my great grandfather in the 1940's. It is carved in relief with symbols representing the history of Mexico.
The serpent wrapped cane, Aztec warrior wearing a Golden Eagle headdress and the bird depicted with snake in its beak, are all sacred elements within the culture. The cane's carved representations tell the story of the settling of Mexico City. Cane measures 37" H, 4" in diameter. Please see where cane has been "patched" throughout (areas lighter in color).
