Before my father passed away, I was inspired to create this design to replace his store bought aluminum cane. This cane has a slight, elegant taper to the shaft which is attached to the handle with a mortise and tenon joint wedged with 2 pieces of Ebony. This cane is made from a carefully selected piece of Curly Maple. It can be cut to whatever size you would like up to a maximum of 32 including the tip. The finish is hand rubbed and is very soft.
